When landing in Dublin, Ireland to pick up a car rental for this road trip it was a sunny afternoon and already I could see how lush the green country side was. This little island, so peaceful and welcoming left me in awe of its stunning landscapes. Even with the overcast weather I had for most of the road trip the scenery was somberly beautiful to photograph.
I started planning this trip for September 2015 a year prior to it. First to go to London for a few days then the rest was still up in the air till a little over a month before I left. It was a rough year and planning travel was not a priority. I ended up deciding on taking a road trip following part of the Wild Atlantic Way around the west coast of Ireland, starting north and heading southwest. It wound up to be a nice little adventure, so much so I almost didn’t return the car.
